This programme has an early application deadline: 15 January 2025.

The Admissions Office will evaluate your eligibility based on the following criteria: 

• Secondary school diploma 
• English proficiency 
• Mathematics proficiency 
• Dutch proficiency (additional requirement for the Dutch track)

Studielink is the national online registration system for students who would like to pursue a degree programme at a Dutch university. All students who would like to apply to a programme at the UvA need to register in Studielink first. Please be aware to select the right language track (Dutch or English). After the application deadline, you cannot switch between the tracks any more.

Please note: after registering in Studielink, we expect your completed application in SIS under ‘My Applications’ within 14 days. To meet this deadline, make sure to gather all necessary documents before starting your registration in Studielink.

After registering in Studielink, you will receive your UvAnetID. This will give you access to check the status of your personal enrolment checklist in SIS. There you find the subsequent steps that you need to take in order to complete your enrolment.

In order to check if you are eligible for the programme you need to upload and submit your documents in SIS under 'My Applications'.

We expect you to submit your completed application within 14 days after registering in Studielink. If you haven't submitted it within this period, you will receive a reminder. If you miss the second deadline as well, your application in SIS and your registration in Studielink will be cancelled. If you are still interested in the programme, you need to start again by re-registering in Studielink and submitting a new application.

Students with an international secondary school diploma in combination with a HBO-P can skip this step.

To be eligible for admission to the programme, you must participate in the selection. This involves an online test on a pre-scheduled date. You can register for the test date in your Enrolment Checklist. It is important to do this no later than 15 January 2025. 

The selection tests will take place on: 

• Saturday 22 February 2025 - start time 14:00 or 14:30. 
• Saturday 8 March 2025 - start time 14:00 or 14:30. 

About a week before the test, you will gain access to the online learning environment Canvas, where you will find the study materials and more information about the test. 

If you have taken the selection test, you will receive a ranking number on 15 April. This ranking number will ultimately determine whether you are offered a place in the programme.

Depending on your ranking number, you will be offered a place in the bachelor's programme. You then have 14 calendar days to accept this offer. If you do not accept it, your spot will be forfeited and offered to another student.

Your tuition fee needs to be credited to the UvA’s bank account 1 day before your degree programme starts at the latest, so 31 August for a September start.
