The International and Transnational Criminal Law programme combines the study of theoretical aspects and foundations of international and transnational criminal law with its practical application by offering a course that simulates the experience of pleading before an international (ised) tribunal and providing opportunities to engage in the Amsterdam Law Clinics, internships, and the international ICC Moot Court Competition.

The 1st semester at the Amsterdam Law School is dedicated to international criminal law. The 2nd semester delves into transnational and European criminal law. All throughout the academic year, students will have the opportunity to engage in internships, participate in the Amsterdam Law Clinics and in the ICC Moot Court Competition.  In addition, the Global Justice Sessions speaker series will continue to take place.

The programme consists of both compulsory and elective courses.
