During UvA Matching, you’ll get acquainted with the program and its coursework, helping you gain a clearer idea of the study and whether it’s a good fit for you. For this reason, UvA Matching is a mandatory part of the enrollment process.

After registering, you’ll receive a message with your UvAnetID. With this, you can sign up for UvA Matching through your ‘checklist enrollment’.

Our matching takes place online and can be completed during the following periods:

• Period 1: April 4 to April 18, 2025
• Period 2: May 30 to June 13, 2025

The application deadline for the first round is 1 April 2025, and for the second round 27 May 2025. You are free to choose which round to participate in.

You can complete the matching at your own pace, but we recommend setting aside at least 20 hours for this. After completing the matching, you’ll receive a matching advice. While this advice is non-binding, we strongly recommend to take it into account when making your final study choice.
