The minor Sociology gives insight into pressing social issues at a personal, societal and global level. On the basis of theory you will study a wide range of social themes such as globalisation, individualisation, and inequality and how this is influenced by issues like as class, race and gender.

This minor may serve as a good preparation for academic Bachelor’s students who want to apply for admission to a Master's in Sociology. Always check the entry requirements of the Master’s programme you are interested in.
