- the study of magnetic structure and dynamics with synchrotron radiation, specifically with the use of magnetic x-ray scattering, magnetic x-ray dichroism and magnetic microscopy. In 2011 a paper giving the proof of principle for coherent x-ray diffraction as a useful tool for studying slow domain dynamics appeared in Physical Review Letters.
