Our research is part of ASCA, the Amsterdam School of Cultural Analysis, and NICA, the Netherlands Institute of Cultural Analysis. Both institutes focus on the study of contemporary culture from an interdisciplinary, theoretical, and critical perspective. 

Our staff members are especially (though not exclusively) interested in the following subjects:
