Exchange Programme Introduction Day

Kickstart your university exchange life at the UvA and in Amsterdam with the ESN Introduction Week and the exchange programme's (academic) introduction day. All dates and times listed below have not yet been confirmed. This information will be updated as soon as it is available

UvA EB Exchange Introduction Day (compulsory)

Your exchange semester / year starts with a compulsory introduction day for exchange students. You will be welcomed by staff members and you will get to know the department and its facilities. Make sure you are present at the introduction because important information will be provided, which will help you with a good start of your exchange. It is also a chance to get to know your fellow exchange students.

Preliminary programme (times subject to change)

  • 08:30 - 09:00 : Walk-in and registration
  • 09:00 - 10:15: Breakfast
  • 10:15 - 10:45: Campus tour
  • 10:45 - 12:00: Introduction and information on Exchange

ESN introduction 

The ESN Introduction Week is designed to help newly arrived exchange students to meet each other and discover Amsterdam, the university and its student life. It is a good opportunity to make friends while engaging in interesting activities. During the week there will be numerous things to do including a city tour, a crash course Dutch, workshops, and social activities.
