At UvA Economics and Business we take great pride in our position at the top of international university rankings. These rankings show how well we perform in research and teaching. We are known for our strong academic reputation, which directly benefits our students, staff and partners. It shows that we provide students with an education that meets international standards, supported by innovative and cutting-edge research that has an impact on business and society.

Accreditations

All Bachelor of Science (BSc) and (Executive) Master of Science (MSc) programmes at the UvA Economics and Business (EB) are accredited by the Netherlands-Flemish Accreditation Organisation (NVAO). This means that the programmes meet high legal quality standards.

We have also received international accreditations which proves that our programmes are of high quality and internationally recognised.

We are particularly proud of our 'Triple Crown' accreditation from the British AMBA, the American AACSB and the European EQUIS. Worldwide, only 1% of all business schools/faculties offering business programmes (around 14,000) have this prestigious status.

Impact score

One of our goals is to make a significant contribution (impact) to business and society through research and education. For the first time, our regional and wider local impact has been officially assessed.
