Central Diversity Office
The Central Diversity Office, led by Central Diversity Officer Machiel Keestra, is committed to making the UvA campus more inclusive, accessible and equal, so that every colleague and student feels at home, safe, respected and supported. We do this by questioning policies, organising events and bringing people together.
CDO Team
The team consists of network coordinator and project leader Meltem Halaceli, project leader Soumia Akachar, communications advisor Marjon Melissen and management assistant Anna Zanger.
Faculty Diversity Officers
The CDO works intensively with Faculty Diversity Officers. This is because each faculty has its own identity and issues, which is why Faculty Diversity Officers are responsible within their faculty for strengthening diversity initiatives that fit the needs there. You can contact your Faculty Diversity Officer with questions that are specific to your faculty.
