Take a (re)generative break and help develop Fair, Resilient & Inclusive Societies (FRIS).
The UvA is highly committed to promoting the development of Fair, Resilient & Inclusive Societies (FRIS), thus strengthening the well-being of all students, educators and citizens. We live in times of rising inequalities and major social, political and economic transitions. Especially now the question rises: what role can we, as university educators, play in understanding and addressing such pressing issues with our students? The Special Interest Group (SIG) FRIS (see also bottom of this page) provides an innovative answer to that question, together with UvA educators who received a FRIS grant and are part of the FRIS community. Now, we call on all interested teachers, students, support staff members, and other interested stakeholders at the UvA to join the FRIS Festival. And to provide answers together!
