This workshop will discuss the legal duties and powers of Examination Boards (EB). Among other things, fraud and plagiarism will be discussed. In addition, the position and importance of EB's in the quality assurance cycle will be discussed and attention will be paid to the assurance tasks of EB's, cooperation with others and workload. Both the legal and quality assurance tasks will be illustrated on the basis of a case study and there will be a joint look at what bottlenecks EB's may encounter.
