During her time with ACES, Marie played a key role in organising hundreds of academic and public events, as well as spearheading the management of numerous successful research projects. Under her leadership, ACES was awarded the prestigious Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence grant (2022-2025) from the EU’s Erasmus+ programme. Marie’s exceptional leadership and contributions have helped ACES to be reappointed as a Research Priority Area at UvA for 2024-2029. Thanks in large part to her many initiatives, ACES will continue to thrive as a hub for interdisciplinary excellence, addressing key societal challenges within Europe, the EU, and its member states.
