If you lack the required knowledge and skills to be admitted to the Master’s programme Physics and Astronomy, you can close the gap in our pre-Master’s programme.
The pre-Master’s programme consists of second year Bachelor courses. Eligibility for the pre-Master’s is based on your knowledge and skills. To get a pre-master advice, you first need to apply to the Physics and Astronomy Master's programme first in Studielink and subsequently in datanose . Check the application and admission deadlines here. The Admissions Board will review your application and select the necessary courses for you. Your tailor-made programme consists of a maximum of 30 EC. Courses are taught partially in Dutch and in English and must be completed in a maximum of 2 years. When you have successfully completed the pre-Master’s programme, you can start in the track of your choice of the Master’s in Physics and Astronomy in the subsequent year.
