The two-year track Green Life Sciences in the Biological Sciences Master's programme is a research-oriented programme that focuses on the interaction of plants with their abiotic and biotic environment. You will study fundamental and applied aspects of molecular biology, cell biology, chemical ecology, physiology, biotechnology, plant breeding, phytopathology and the plant microbiome in courses and while being part of our research environment during internships. Practical training forms the core (75%) of the Green Life Sciences program, with one or two research projects, and a literature review. This enables you to develop an integrated view of the functioning of plants in their environment and to acquire skills required for a variety of jobs in the green life sciences.
