A ramp for wheelchair users is located next to the main entrance of REC JK (right of the blue canopy).

Parking spots for wheelchair users

In the streets surrounding the Roeterseiland campus (REC), you can park for free with a valid disabled parking permit (in Dutch: gehandicaptenparkeerkaart or GPK) in the designated parking spots.

The limited number of parking spots for persons with a disability within the REC, is intended solely for students and employees.

Within the municipality of Amsterdam, you can apply for an Amsterdam parking permit for persons with a disability if you already own a European disabled parking permit. With the Amsterdam parking permit you can park for free on all paid parking spots.
