Susanne is an Assistant Professor of Accounting. Prior to joining the University of Amsterdam in 2021, she completed her Ph.D. at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. She holds an M.Sc. in business administration from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and a B.Sc. in economics from Leibniz University of Hannover (Germany).
Her research interests lie in the field of empirical financial accounting and cover topics such as political connections, firm litigation risk, corporate culture, and reputation. Selected work can be found on her SSRN profile.
