    Current research projects

    • The Effectiveness of Supply Chain Regulations
Governmental supply chain regulations proliferate but vary in shape, material scope, supply chain scope, monitoring, enforcement methods and relationship to legal liability. This is likely to lead to variation in regulatory stringency and this research analyses whether such variation matters for behavioural change of firms’ corporate activities towards human rights and labour protection. At the same time, this research project studies public attitudes towards regulatory stringency.
    • Pressuring Platforms: How Party Programs Shape and Are Shaped
Who influences political party manifestoes? And who do they influence? This research agenda looks at the interaction between political parties and voters, while considering for example the (conditioning) role of economic experts and the context of the macroeconomic environment.
