    Dr. Gulzaar Barn joined the philosophy department at the University of Amsterdam in 2022. Since obtaining her PhD (DPhil) in Philosophy at the University of Oxford, she has held positions at the University of Birmingham, King's College London, and Utrecht University. She specialises in political philosophy and context-sensitive ethical inquiry. Her research centres on topics in global justice and health, such as embodied labour and exploitation, feminist critiques of reproductive technologies, and the history and practice of (neo)eugenics and race science.
