As a hardware engineer in the field of research and development, I design and create electronic equipment, that is not commercially available, but needed for scientific research groups to do their experimental research.
The Uva birdtracking project was initiated in summer 2006 by
Prof. Dr. Ir. W. Bouten of the Institute for Biodiversity and
EcoSystem Dynamics (IBED) and his group. Their department
within the IBED institute is named Computational Geo-Ecology
(CGE).
In this project my tasks are:
- technical project leader
- electronics engineer
- firmware / software programmer
