In 2015, all United Nation members came up with a blueprint for peace and prosperity for people and the planet, with 17 Sustainable Development Goals at its heart. These goals are an urgent call for action by all countries in a global partnership, especially because many complex problems on a global scale have local implications - and vice versa.

In this course, you will work in a team with students from European partner universities to solve one of these local-global challenges.

The course consists of a three-month virtual learning journey in which you will be educated in intercultural competencies and entrepreneurial skills. In addition, all UvA students will participate in group meetings on campus. Optionally, you can meet your European fellow students in a Summer School at one of the partner universities.
