The Master's programme in General Biology has a student population of 20 - 30 students each year, with many nationalities and backgrounds. Courses are done in small groups and during the Master's projects students participate in regular meetings to present their work and discuss this with their peers. This results in an informal and international classroom.
The educational Master's programme in Biological Sciences strongly relies on the expertise of researchers from a range of research institutes, both within and outside the University of Amsterdam.
