Europe from a broad perspective

In which of our six majors would you like to specialise: European Culture, European History, East European Studies, European Law, European Economics, or European Politics?

Master the art of critical thinking

What?
Learn to understand the challenges Europe is facing today. Integrate the politics, law and economics of the EU with historical, cultural and literary perspectives.

Learn a new language

Which?
Unique to European Studies at the UvA is that you can choose from 15+ languages to expand your language skills. Arabic, Italian or Turkish, for example.
