Research interests
I am interested in multilingual language acquisition as well as psycholinguistics more generally. In addition, I am enthusiastic about methodological and statistical developments such as testing informative hypotheses and research synthesis.
Current projects
I am currently conducting my PhD research within the MultiCUE project. My PhD research focuses on the pragmatic abilities of multilingual children, and specifically on their attention to non-verbal cues during communication, such as a speaker's eye gaze and co-speech gestures. I investigate whether their attention to such cues differ from that of monolingual peers, and what the mechanisms are that underlie such differences.
