    Fajri Siregar is a PhD Candidate at the University of Amsterdam, researching civil society-based knowledge production by NGOs in post-Suharto Indonesia. He has a keen interest in the production and application of knowledge, especially social sciences.  He also teaches Sociology at the University of Indonesia and is a former Director of Jakarta-based think tank, Centre for Innovation Policy and Governance (CIPG). He has acted as research and policy consultant for On Think Tanks and other occasions (e.g. Indonesia’s Ministry of Research and Higher Education, the Knowledge Sector Initiative, the Partnership for Governance Reform).
