Mariusz Sapieha is a PhD student employed at the ERC Project Relocare: Relocating Care within Europe: Moving the elderly to places where care is more affordable, led by Kristine Krause. Within the broader project investigating care for German-speaking elderly in Central and Eastern Europe, he’s responsible for the Polish side of the study. He’s been involved in the project from the very beginning, first as a research assistant, now as a PhD student working on his own research.
He holds Masters degrees in Anthropology from the University of Warsaw and in Medical Anthropology from the University of Amsterdam. His Masters research projects revolved around clinical psychiatry and diagnostic process in Poland.
