    Jana Runze is a postdoctoral researcher at the Preventive Youth Care lab investigating the role of parenting & child maltreatment in the development of children, adolescents and up into adulthood.

    About Jana Runze

    Jana Runze obtained the Bachelor of Science in Psychology at the University of Twente in Enschede (2017) and the (research) Master of Science in Behavioral Sciences at the Radbout University in Nijmegen (2019), both cum laude. From 2019 to 2023, she was a PhD Candidate at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and within the Leiden Consortium on Individual Development. Under the supervision of prof. dr. Marian Bakermans-Kranenburg and dr. Mirjam Oosterman, she investigated the effect of genes and the environment (specifically parenting) as well as their interaction on the physiological and psychological development of children.
