    Dr. Sumeet Malik received his Ph.D. from IE Madrid and pursued his postdoc at IESE Madrid. His research explores how market players interact with regulatory and social institutions. His research has appeared in prestigious outlets such as the Strategic Management Journal (SMJ), Research Policy (RP), and the Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal (SEJ). His research won the best Ph.D. paper award (KI) at SMS 2021 and was a finalist for the best Ph.D. paper (TIM) at AOM 2020. He regularly reviews for top journals and is on the Editorial Review Board of the Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice.

    He is most excited about GenAI impacting cultural industries. His latest experiments can be found YouTube, where he posts weekly. 

    With the help of his lovely wife, Sumeet is also trying to parent an outgoing girl and a shy boy.
