Edoardo D. Martino (Montevarchi – Italy, 1991) is Assistant Professor of Law (tenure track) at the Amsterdam Center for Law and Economics (ACLE), University of Amsterdam (UvA). Edoardo is also a Research Associate at the European Banking Institute (EBI).
Before joining UvA, Edoardo earned his PhD in Law and Economics at Erasmus University Rotterdam (EUR), an LL.M. from the European Master in Law and Economics – EMLE (with distinction) and Law Degree from University of Florence (summa cum laude). He was a visiting researcher in several Universities, such as Oxford University, University of Hamburg, Goethe University Frankfurt and University of Bologna.
Edoardo engages in research and teaching activities in the broad field of Law & Finance. His research focuses on corporate governance, financial regulation and fintech. On these topics, he published book (chapters) in houses such as Edward Elgar, Oxford Univeristy Press, Palgrave Macmillan and Routledge, as well as articles in journals such as European Business Organization Law Review (EBOR), Journal of Corporate Law Studies (JCLS), and Computer Law and Security Review (CLSR) and the Journal of Banking Regulation (JBRe). He is a guest contributor to, among others, the Oxford Business Law Blog and the Columbia Blue Sky Blog.
