Aart Jonkers (1987) is an affiliate at the Amsterdam Centre for Transformative private law (ACT). He obtained his master’s degree in European Private Law (cum laude, best of class) and his PhD (cum laude) for his manuscript titled: "Insider guarantees in corporate finance, an economic analyses of Dutch, US and German law", both at the University of Amsterdam. His innovative PhD project combines an economic and a comparative law approach and offers a critical perspective on the current regulation of externalities in corporate finance.

Research

Aart focuses on the regulation in civil law of economic dynamics.
