Jeanne Gubbels is an assistant professor at the programme group Forensic Child and Youth Care, in the department Child Development and Education. After gaining her PhD at Forensic Child and Youth Care, she worked as a postdoc researcher at the programme group Developmental Psychopathology and a teacher at Forensic Child and Youth Care. Her main research interests lie in the area of child maltreatment, intergenerational transmission, antisocial behavior, prevention, effective interventions components, and risk assessment. Her research on the intergenerational transmission of stress and mental health is part of the UvA-theme ‘Heahlthy Futures’, one of the four themes selected from the Theme-based Collaboration programme. She is actively involved in teaching, specifically MSc Forensische Orthopedagogiek and is coordinator of the course Jeugdrecht.
