About me
I received my MA degree at the VU University (Economic and Social History) in 2008. My thesis focussed on the impact of modern economic growth on the prostitution market in Haarlem, 1850-1900. (see also Publications)
Besides my work as a librarian, I am an external PhD candidate at the University of Utrecht. My research focuses on entrepreneurship in the Dutch prostitution business between 1850 and 1911. My promotor is prof. dr. Elise van Nederveen Meerkerk and co-promotor is dr. Clé Lesger (UvA).
