Guido Berends joined the Amsterdam Business School in August 2023 as a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Strategy and International Business section. Prior to joining ABS, he did a PhD at the University of Groningen. His dissertation focused on how firms react to controversial events, in particular societal issues such as environmental violations, and how firm responses to such events shape stakeholder evaluations. His current work at ABS focuses on the green technological transition strategies of car manufacturers.
