Selina Abraham is an urbanist, researcher, designer and entrepreneur. Selina's goal is to extend from her professional background and her ongoing development as a social scientist, to help municipalities collaborate more meaningfully while designing sustainable cities.

Through her research project, Selina is studying collaborative planning processes with citizens within sustainability-driven urban planning projects in the Netherlands. Her research investigates the nexus between ‘meaningful’ collaborative processes and multi-value creation using art-based research and creative methods. She is interested in how a value-driven approach can help different stakeholder link opportunities while mediating disagreement and conflict. The research project falls within the NWO project, Transitions and Behaviour (TransB). The aim of TransB is to strengthen co-creation processes and come up with recommendations for governance, co-creation guidelines for multiple value creation projects.

Selina was born in India. She graduated as an architect from New Delhi (B.Arch) in 2014, she later worked in Bangalore as an architect and urban planner for two years. In 2016, she moved to the Netherlands to study Urbanism at TU Delft (2018 MSc Urbanism).
