Amsterdam Merit Scholarship (AMS)

The Faculty of Social and Behavioural Sciences aims to attract talented students to its international classrooms. It offers a limited number of scholarships to motivated students with a non-EER nationality the opportunity to pursue one of the Bachelor's degree programmes of the Faculty of Social and Behavioural Sciences of the University of Amsterdam.

Other sources of financial aid

Scholarships and grants may be available from the Dutch Ministry of Education and Sciences or the Ministry for Higher Education in your own country. In certain cases it is also possible for Dutch/EU students to receive a monthly student loan from the Dutch government (via DUO).
