Launching Impact Fund Social Sciences & Humanities (SSH)
Social Sciences and Humanities (SSH) research requires its own approach and facilities to increase the impact of research results. During Talking (REC) Impact, the new SSH Impact Fund will be launched.
The fund is open to researchers from the Faculties of Economics and Business, Humanities, Society and Behaviour, and Law. It offers researchers financial support to valorise research results and thus increase the application of SSH research results in society.
You will also be introduced to the Impact Developers who, from this autumn, will be helping specific projects to increase their impact outside the walls of the UvA. In addition, colleagues who have come before you will present their impact initiatives, including Christian Bröer from the FMG spin-off Panel BV.
Drinks at 17:00 will be the time to meet colleagues and other REC residents and make new connections.
The event will take place in the REC Impact Hub in building J/K. From 2024, this will be the place at REC where impact is accelerated, partnerships and co-creation take place, and great ideas are turned into applications.
The fund offers financial support to SSH researchers to valorise research results and increase the chances of SSH research results being applied in society. This could include the development of a service or product in the form of a social enterprise or spin-off. The fund is a valuable addition to the valorisation facilities and services within the UvA. The Social Impact Fund was set up by UvA Ventures Holding in collaboration with IXA-UvA. Want to know more? Then come to Talking (REC) Impact.
Talking (REC) Impact #01 is an initiative of REC Impact, IXA-UvA, and UvA Ventures Holding
