Become a member of the UvA Alumni Association

Stay connected to the UvA even after your studies and become a member of the UvA Alumni Association (AUV). The fee for an AUV membership is 35 euros per year. As an AUV member, you enjoy all kinds of benefits and you can join one of the alumni circles.

Member benefits

As an AUV member, you also get exclusive services and discounts at university facilities such as the University Sports Centre and the University Library. And you get benefits at cultural partners, such as the Hermitage and photography museum Foam. Check the overview with all benefits.

Alumni circles

Are you becoming a member of the AUV? Then you can also join one of the alumni circles. This way, you can stay up to date on developments within your field of study or discover new areas.

AUV membership card

The AUV membership card is issued digitally. To confirm your membership, you will receive an annual email containing your membership number and a QR code. By scanning the QR code you will see your digital membership card. The pass states its expiration date. Show your pass and/or membership number at the participating organisation to enjoy the benefits.

Don't have a smartphone to show your AUV membership card digitally? Print out the confirmation email and use it as proof of your membership.

Cancelling membership

Would you like to cancel your membership of the AUV? Please do so at least one month before the expiry date and use the cancellation form (in Dutch only) to do so.
